Energy Efficiency
In addition to the casement window low U-values (see below for
breakouts), a signature aluminum extrusion
design utilizing proprietary custom Insulbar technology further
reduces energy consumption. Windows are
NFRC-tested and comply with California’s rigorous Title 24 U-value
requirements.
Strength
For strength against the elements, casement window , awning, and

performance rating of CW-PG50. A frame depth of 5.875” supports
triple-pane, laminated, and security
glass — essential options for noise reduction. casement window
Series, Awning, and Fixed Window are
currently in testing for hurricane impact.
Cardinal Glass
The Series casement window offers performance glass options from
Cardinal IG that include laminated
glass, solar- and glare-control glass, enhanced winter-performance
glass, and Neat low-maintenance glass.
Pre-applied Cardinal Preserve Film protects glass during
installation.
Screening
Screens for the casement window are manufactured from extruded
aluminum for durability and are finished
to match the window’s frame color.
